I started my Real Estate career in my home state Texas in 2002. Being an avid traveller, after five very successful years in the business ( #4 of 600 Realtors) I packed my bags for Columbia, South Carolina. There I started my children’s book series The Adventures of Abigale Green. Although not selling as an agent in South Carolina, I continued to buy investment properties for myself in Texas and Florida which kept me very much abreast of what was happening in the real estate market across the country.
From South Carolina I relocated to Los Angeles landing in the Sherman Oaks area. With many life-long friends living here, I was able to learn the lay of the land quickly. These friends would constantly encourage me to get back into the real estate world. So after 2 years of living in California and loving every minute of it, I decided it was time to jump back in.
My passion for Real Estate began as a child when we developed our family ranch. Learning how to plot individual lots, work on covenants and restrictions for the new neighborhoods and work with the developers and contractors on all the details was fascinating to me. And after all that foundation of knowledge was established later getting my Real Estate license made everything come full circle.
I love negotiating! Having knowledge of all aspects of the business definitely works to the benefit of my clients and future customers. My love for neighborhoods and how they are laid out also helps when listening to clients tell me what they are looking for. My friends who have been here for over 10 years would laugh at how I had been to certain parts of Los Angeles that they have never been to. My curiosity can be quite adventuresome.
My clients in Texas have remained wonderful friends and still call on me for advice even though I have not lived there in six years. As a professional I believe in honesty and having fun even when times can get a little tense.
One of my main mantras in life is to always surround myself with people that inspire and encourage me. The minute I walked in the door of Partner’s Trust I knew I was at home. The desire to continuously educate the agents, encourage charitable give backs from our earnings and remain on the cutting edge of advertising was everything I strove for back in Texas. With these details as a foundation and the passion for the business itself, I am thrilled to be a California Realtor.
